Boston University’s Agganis Arena is the home of the Boston University Terriers ice hockey team, and also plays host to frequent concerts and sporting events.
It is named for Harry Agganis, a Boston University alumnus renowned for the athletic skills that earned him a place with the Boston Red Sox before his untimely passing at 26. The Agganis Arena stands as a proud memorial to his
memory, hosting the 2007 America East Conference men’s basketball tournament and the 2009 Women’s Frozen Four.
Agganis Arena tickets have sold like hotcakes for touring acts like Bob Dylan, Kid Rock, and the Black Eyed Peas, and with upcoming acts like Snow Patrol and Australian Pink Floyd, it seems likely that Agganis Arena tickets will remain a hot commodity.
